Artist's Statement
I am a Maryland based artist who is interested in creating surreal forms in simplistic compositions. I primarily use colored pencils to draw the figure, dismembered body parts, and animalistic forms which I intend to translate into tattoo art. This style is very personal to me, but I intend no specific meaning or symbolism when creating them. I create simply what will be visually interesting to me and any deeper meaning found within them is unintentional. Other styles I work with include realism where I create more lifelike depictions of animals and still life, usually in graphite or charcoal. I also delve into cartoon styles where I focus on line drawings of dinosaurs and other animals, abstract shapes and logo work. These different styles come together in my commission and graphic design work which requires a variety of techniques and includes album art, tattoo, and logo designs.
